Though scary is certainly en vogue right now, Dia De Los Muertos 2 doesn’t overdo it. Yes, there are skulls and the Grim Reaper himself is standing to the right. That said, the bright and colorful layout keeps it feeling light despite the darker tones.
The gameplay is reliant on Endorphina’s Scatter Pays engine. There are more than 30 different symbols across the 6x5 reel layout. In order to win, you need to get at least eight of those to match no matter where they land. Getting 12 or more symbols is needed to get the best wins.
Very similar to other Endorphina titles, Dia De Los Muertos 2 isn’t teeming with features but it more than gets the job done. The multipliers are the real stars of the show, ranging anywhere from 2x to 500x depending on the number of symbols and wilds that you get.
With 3 or more bonus symbols, extra spins can be acquired and extra multipliers are put into effect when the free spins are used. There are no crazy additional bonus features but with more than 4000x your take at risk, it doesn’t have to be complex to be fun.
